Julio is a striking looking mare. She is a sweet but quirky horse who is training well through the grades in eventing as well as the levels in dressage.

Julio has had a few eventing starts to date in which Julio has been very competitive in the dressage, clear and confident cross country and great in the show jumping. She moved up to 95 at the end of 2024 where she won at both starts. In straight dressage Julio has had a preliminary and novice starts with scores over 70% and wins and placings.

Julio is by Sun and Fun who is a licensed Oldenburg stallion by Sunny Boy out of Anna Karenina (by Azzaro x Lowen As). At the stallion performance test he was praised for his trot and canter. His walk scored 8.5 and his rideability 8.0   For character and his willingness to work his scores ranged 8.0 to 9.0  Sun and Fun was ridden by Hayley Beresford and was on the long list for the Australian dressage team for the London Olympics.

Jandy R is the dam of Julio. Jandy is a Jive Magic mare who is also the dam of Revelry R who is competing Inter A.

Julio is a lovely mare who is quiet and easy to have around. She is good to take out and have at home and great to travel.
